Guido Gabriele was a graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law. He began his career as a trial attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. Mr. Gabriele had over 30 years of experience in complex and high-stakes litigation, with a primary focus on medical malpractice defense. He was also sought out for his vast experience and excellent results in the handling of matters of professional licensure, Medicare/Medicaid investigations, Hospital Credentialing issues and criminal matters.

Mr. Gabriele lectured extensively on Risk Management & Suit Avoidance. He also conducted Risk Management seminars for each of the healthcare facilities maintained by one of the local municipalities, and he served as a member of the Board of Directors of a local hospital.

Mr. Gabriele had been a member of the Bench Bar and the Judicial Screening Committees of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He was a past president of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Suffolk County and former Treasurer of the Alexander Hamilton Inns of Court. In 2004, Mr. Gabriele was appointed Acting Village Justice of Laurel Hollow, New York. Despite his many accomplishments, he remained humble and worked tirelessly to perfect his craft.

Mr. Gabriele leaves behind his wife, Sandi Gabriele, who is a former Mayor of Plandome Heights, and his five children, Guido III, Michael-Anthony, Jon-Paul, Deanna-Marina and Joseph-Justin, to whom he was unflaggingly devoted.

Guido Gabriele was well-known for his legal acumen, his innovative trial strategies and his tenacious litigation style. His enthusiasm, energy and humor will be sorely missed. He was our partner, our mentor and our friend, and his legacy lives on in all of us.
